At Executive Director Summit, we’re coming together not just to grow as a community, but to give back in a meaningful way. This year, we’re proud to partner with Living Classrooms Foundation to support the POWER House Community Center’s Summer Program, which provides life-changing opportunities for students in some of Baltimore’s most under-resourced areas.
About Living Classrooms & POWER House
The POWER House Community Center is part of Living Classrooms’ mission to break the cycle of generational poverty in East Baltimore. Thanks to your generous donations, the POWER House summer campers will be learning how to swim at a local pool! It is Living Classrooms’ goal to teach the children about water safety and basic swimming skills. Many of the students do not have the opportunity to swim and Living Classrooms feels strongly that they be exposed and learn this life skill. In addition to swimming, campers will play a variety of sports, engage in STEM activities, create art, play games and take field trips around the Baltimore area.
