Held twice a year, all OPTAVIA Coaches who reach the rank of Fully Integrated Business Coach (FIBC) for the first time during the qualification period are invited to join us at our new Baltimore headquarters! Attendees will take a tour of headquarters, a tour of the Owings Mills manufacturing plant, as well as take part in FIBC Trainings led by our Field leaders.

Qualification Criteria

Qualifying Coaches must reach FIBC for the first time ever since purchasing their Business Kit AND fulfill all FIBC qualifications during the qualification period of January 1, 2018 – July 31, 2018 in order to receive an invitation to the August New FIBC Summit.

Manufacturing Plant Tour

DATE: Thursday, August 23, 2018

Have you ever wondered about the inner workings of the Manufacturing Plant and where our Fuelings are made? Now is your chance to find out! Come and be our guest for a complimentary tour of the Manufacturing Plant. Our Plant Tours* are part of New FIBC Summit 2018 and are open to registered attendees only. RSVP is required.

*Please note that transportation is not provided.

Important Note

If you would like to participate in the Plant Tour, please keep in mind the following dress code rules:

  • No jewelry is permitted in the manufacturing, maintenance or warehouse areas. Exceptions are made for medical conditions, such as a medical alert bracelets.
  • No false eyelashes are permitted.
  • No open toed shoes.
  • No eating, drinking, smoking, chewing gum, etc.
  • No glass or any types of containers are permitted.

Allergens: We have dairy, wheat, soy, shellfish, peanuts, fish, and egg allergens in this facility. Please be aware of this if you are in the manufacturing plant and have any allergies or sensitivities to these types of products or ingredients. Do not bring any type of peanut product or tree nut such as almonds, pecans, or coconut into the manufacturing or warehouse areas.

In order to maintain compliance with our in‐house Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), it is required by all visitors to know and comply with our GMP policies. A copy of our GMP Compliance & Confidentiality notice will be provided to you prior to entering the factory.

Team Building Night – Bowling

TIME: 12:30 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Join us at Aquaterra*, the home of Dr. Andersen, from 12:30 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. to wrap up New FIBC Summit with some training from Dr. A himself! Lunch will be provided.

Q: Where is New FIBC Summit 2018 being held and what are the dates?

A:  The summer New FIBC Summit will be held in Baltimore, Maryland at the Baltimore Marriott Waterfront. Event dates are August 23 – 25, 2018.

Q: What are the qualifications to attend August New FIBC Summit?

A:  New FIBC Summit is a qualifying event. All OPTAVIA Coaches who qualify as a Fully Integrated Business Coach (FIBC) for the first time during the qualification period of January 1, 2018 – July 31, 2018 will be invited to attend.

Q: Do I need to qualify all three months at FIBC within the qualification period?

A:  Any Coach who finishes the qualification requirements of FIBC for the first time during the qualification period will be invited to attend.

For example, if a Coach qualifies at FIBC for the first time during December 2017, January 2018, and February 2018, they will be invited to New FIBC Summit in August 2018.

Q: What do I do if I qualify but cannot attend New FIBC Summit this August?

A:  Qualifying Coaches who are unable to attend the New FIBC Summit (August 23 – 25, 2018) may defer their invitation and attend the New FIBC Summit scheduled for March 2019 (March 14 – 16, 2019), if it is due to a qualifying event.

Q: Am I allowed to bring a guest with me to New FIBC Summit 2018?

Since the New FIBC Summit is a qualifying event, only Coaches and their Co‐Applicant are invited to participate. Please refer to our Terms and Conditions for further detail.

A:  All attendees will be on their own for transportation throughout the event, with the exception of bus transportation for the Baltimore Oriole's game Friday evening. A discount for shuttle transportation to and from the airport has been provided through SuperShuttle. OPTAVIA is also offering a $5 ride discount through Lyft. Q: How much is the New FIBC Summit registration fee?

A:  There is no registration fee to attend New FIBC Summit. The Summit includes:

A:  You will be able to RSVP for the Manufacturing Plant Tour in your New FIBC Summit registration.

Q: How do I book my hotel room?

A:  Once your New FIBC Summit registration has been approved by a member of the OPTAVIA Events Team, your confirmation email will include a link to book your hotel room at the Marriott Waterfront.
Please note that your stay is only covered August 23 – 25, 2018. If you would like to extend your visit, you will be responsible for the cost of those additional nights. A credit card will be required for incidentals.

Q: When is the registration deadline for New FIBC Summit 2018?

A:  In order to make sure your hotel request is received and confirmed, the last day to register for New FIBC Summit is Thursday, August 9, 2018.
